Mighty No. 9 collector’s edition announced

"Beat Them at Their Own Game" trailer released.

Mighty No. 9

Deep Silver and Comcept have announced an “extremely limited” $59.99 collector’s edition for Mighty No. 9, which will include a 6.5-inch, individually numbered statue of main character Beck and special packaging featuring a foil signature from creator Keiji Inafune.

Additionally, the publisher announced that all launch window versions of the game will include the “Retro Hero” downloadable content, which lets players battle as a retro-inspired version of Beck, as well as play the game in a one-hit death difficulty mode.

Also, for PlayStation players, the game will be cross-buy on PS4, PS3, and PS Vita, including the retail PS4 version. That means if you buy one version, you’ll get the other two free.

Mighty No. 9 is due out via retail and digitally for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U, and digitally for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Linux, and Mac on September 15 in the Americas and September 18 in Europe. It will launch digitally at a later date for PS Vita and 3DS. The collector’s edition only applies to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U retail releases.
