Halo 5: Guardians single-player gameplay, Warzone reveal
New 24-player online multiplayer mode.
Microsoft debuted the first single-player gameplay of Halo 5: Guardians during its E3 2015 press conference this morning.
The footage shows Agent Locke, one of the game’s two main characters, moving forward with a team of three other people in four-player co-op.
In single-player, you’ll control two distinct Spartan squads, one led by Master Chief, one by Locke. But multiplayer will have just as big a scale, Microsoft promises, with a new “Warzone” 24-player mode, as well as AI-controlled adversaries and massive environments four-times the size of any previous Halo map. It’s playable at E3.
Halo 5: Guardians is due out for Xbox One on October 27.
