Death Under the Labyrinth first teaser trailer

First keyword: "3D dungeon."

Death Under the Labyrinth

Compile Heart has released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming PS Vita game Death Under the Labyrinth.

Not much is known about the title, other than that it’s part of the Makai Ichiban Kan series of titles. The trailer today gives us its first keyword—3D dungeons—suggesting it will be a dungeon RPG. (As if the title didn’t already suggest it.)

Here’s a transcript from the trailer:

Amidst this eternal night sky sit two moons, shining brightly within the darkness.
And deep below the dimly-lit labyrinth, beyond a sealed door, I lie slumbering.
Perhaps Estora will call for me.
Meanwhile, on this star that’s lost the light, there stands a girl whose eyes are fixed onward, full of hope and knowledge of her role to come.
Perhaps that voice will reach me.
Perhaps it’ll even stir my soul and guide it.
If it is to be that by both of my arms guide her to her path and light it…
Then for now, all I can do is wait and sleep this dim, murky slumber.
Death awaits under the labyrinth.
When the time is right, I’ll awaken to change that fate.
