First look at Langrisser for 3DS

See the upcoming 3DS strategy RPG revival.

Famitsu has gone up with its debut online preview for Masaya Games’ newly announced 3DS revival of the Langrisser series.

The strategy RPG series first began on Mega Drive in 1991 (it was called Warsong in western territories) and saw its last release with Langrisser Millennium: The Last Century on Wonderswan in 1999.

The 3DS game is a 10-versus-10 strategy RPG, with chibi 3D characters fighting in tight spaces. It follows a boy who’s obtained the holy blade Excalibur sets out to fight imperial forces to save a girl from whom he’s been separated.
