Alone in the Dark and Haunted House reboots coming to PC this fall

Live demos planned for PAX Prime next weekend.

Alone in the Dark: Illumination

Reboots of Atari’s Alone in the Dark and Haunted House franchises are coming to PC this fall, the company announced.

The Los Angeles-based Pure FPS is developing Alone in the Dark: Illuminationand the Italian studio Dreampainters Software, which made Kalypso Media’s Anna, is developing Haunted House.

Both games will be demonstrated live at PAX Prime in Seattle next weekend.

Alone in the Dark most recently appeared on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PS2, Wii, and PC in 2008. And Haunted House was last seen on Xbox 360 (via Xbox Live Aracde), Wii, and PC in 2010. Both games weren’t very well received.
