Microsoft hiring for “new project line in the Halo universe”

Senior producer who can shift between teams required.

Halo Wars

Microsoft is hiring for a “new project line in the Halo universe,” according to a job listing on the company’s careers site.

Halo series developer 343 Industries is seeking a senior producer to work on the project, with the ideal candidate “able to gracefully shift between different teams (internal and external) aiding them where necessary and contributing to overall smooth running of the project/projects”—suggesting an outside developer might be involved.

Currently, the only announced Halo projects include Halo: The Master Chief Collection, due out for Xbox One this November, and Halo 5: Guardians, due out next year. Though, Xbox boss Phil Spencer has said real-time strategy games might see a resurgence this generation. Perhaps we’ll see something along the lines of Halo Wars?

Or maybe it’s Halo Racing.
