Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal World Duel Carnival coming west this summer

Europe getting retail release, North America goes digital-only.

Konami is bringing Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal World Duel Carnival to 3DS in Europe on June 26 and in North America this September, the company announced.

In North America, the game will be a digital-only eShop release. In Europe, the game will be available in both retail and digital form, with the retail version including the limited edition Yu-Gi-Oh! cards “Snow Plow Hustle Rustle,” “Night Express Knight,” and “Special Schedule.”

The game centers on the World Duel Carnival, where 11 playable characters compete. Each character has their own deck, allowing players to jump straight into the action.

Players can also develop their character’s deck, or build a custom deck from 5,500 cards. Over 40 characters from the TV show will appear in the game, whom players will meet as they prepare for the tournament.
