Sonic Boom introduces new character Sticks

A jungle badger with unparalleled animal instincts.

Sticks

Like many Sonic games before it, Sonic Boom will introduce new friends for the blue hedgehog and his group. Sega today revealed Sticks.

Sticks will play an “integral” role across the Sonic Boom games and TV series. She is a a jungle badger who has spent most of her life living alone in the wilderness. She will join Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy to form the “core ensemble” featured in the Sonic Boom franchise.

Sticks is described as wilder than the other members of Sonic’s team, with unparalleled animal instincts and extremely sharp survival skills. She is a combatant and hunter armed with homemade weapons at all time, most notably a boomerang.

She is not the most trusting individual, however, and her outrageous suspicions often proven accurate. But she has a good heart and a genuine desire to get closer to her new friends. She quickly becomes best friends with Amy, and Sticks is willing to go to the extreme to protect her.
