Continuing its month-long of PlayStation game announcements (Stealth Inc: Ultimate Edition, MouseCraft), Curve Studios announced Titan Invasion, a collection of two arcade action games from U.K. developer Puppygames, for PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and PlayStation 3.
Titan Invasion includes the following two games:
- Titan Attacks! – An arcade shooter reminiscent of games like Space Invaders and Galaga, but with modern features, new strategies, a full online leaderboard system and stylish neo-retro visuals. There’s also a full upgrade system, and over 100 levels playable over 5 unique worlds.
- Revenge of the Titans – A sequel to Titan Attacks! in theme, with the titular Titans returning for another go at Earth. However, this is an entirely different game-play experience, keeping the frantic action of the original but hugely expanding the gameplay with unique mash-up of real-time strategy and tower defense. It greatly expands on the original game, allowing players to build a network of turrets, rocket launchers, laser canons, barricades, shield generates, refineries, reactors and over 20 other buildings to defend against a huge scale assault across 50 levels.
Curve Studios has yet to date the game, but is aiming for an early summer release.
