Basement Crawl due out on PS4 next week

Maze-based mayhem game "enhanced" after slight delay.

Basement Crawl

Basement Crawl will launch for PlayStation 4 via PlayStation Network in North America next Tuesday, February 25 and in Europe next Wednesday, February 26 for $9.99 USD / €9.99 / ₤7.99, Bloober Team announced.

The game was initially planned for launch late last month, but was delayed when “several exciting opportunities to partner with major industry players to enhance, refine and add-to the game arose.” Today’s announcement has not offered further clarification, other than that the game has been “enhanced.”

Find the official description of Basement Crawl below.

With wildly creepy characters and blood-curdling environments, Basement Crawl combines the Bomberman-style maze-based mayhem gamers have known and loved for years with high intensity action, explosive traps and potent multiplayer competition. Players can choose to grab extra controllers and challenge their friends in-person via four-player local multiplayer or jump onto the PlayStation Network for an eight-player battle for global domination. Players can even gather their friends and go online together from the same PS4 to battle four additional players from around the world.
