Ogre and Stryder titan classes revealed for Titanfall

Developed by Hammond Robotics.

Respawn Entertainment debuted two new titan classes for Titanfall at VGX.

The first, the Ogre, “uses its heavy armor design to destroy the competition in ballistic and martial testing.” In testing—according to the trailer—it was responsible for 67 percent of enemy forced depletion and suffered only superficial damage to the outer hull, while mitigating damage to friendly units by nearly 40 percent, and inflicting over 50 percent more damage to enemy units.

The second titan, the Stryder, has the lightest core of any titan with a 23 percent lighter exoskeleton, making it agile and versatile, and 30 percent increased thruster capacity.

Watch trailers for both new titans below. Titanfall is due out for Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC on March 11 in North America and March 13 in Europe.
