Acquire has introduced three new characters set to appear in AKIBA’S TRIP 2.
The introductions follow tonight’s newly released Katie character trailer.
The new characters (from left to right) are:
- Kihachi Sugiyama (voiced by Toshitsugu Takashina) – Also known as “Gramps” (Oyassan), he is the owner of a game bar dedicated to retro games called “Mogura” (mole). His shop is a popular hangout for the Akihabara Vigilance Committee. He’s known the protagonist and Touko since they were small, so he knows a lot about them.
- Kaito Tachibana (voiced by Daiki Yamashita) – The first of the Tachibana twins and a member of the Akihabara Vigilance Committee. He’s an old friend of the main character, and even after he becomes a Magaimono he remains friendly. Since the Magaimono are hindering his otaku lifestyle, he wants to get rid of them as quick as possible so he can go back to the peaceful otaku life in Akihabara.
- Yuudo Tachibana (voiced by Junichi Yanagita) – The second of the Tachibana twins and an Akihabara Vigilance Committee member. He is unlike his brother Kaito who sees things the same way as the main character. He provides support by looking at things objectively and putting out his opinions frankly. His characteristics are basically sociable and helpful.
AKIBA’S TRIP 2 is due out for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita on November 7 in Japan.
