Splinter Cell: Blacklist listed for Wii U

Sam's latest outing could come to Nintendo's HD platform.

Best Buy has listed a Wii U version of Splinter Cell: Blacklist for pre-order.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist was announced for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC at E3 this week. A Wii U version was not announced.

Before the game was announced, rumors of its existence claimed a Wii U version was also in development. If true, reasons for its absence may have been because Nintendo focused only on its Wii U launch window lineup.

Ubisoft has already pledged extensive support to the console with games like Zombiu and Rayman Legends, so seeing Blacklist appear on the console is no where near out of the question.
