Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations 9-minute trailer, screenshots

70 character roster, new stories highlighted.

Namco Bandai released an extensive new trailer for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations today, set for release across PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 13.

The 9-minute long trailer showcases the game’s huge roster of over 70 characters, new stories not revealed in the original series, and “comprehensive” new online multiplayer modes. These modes include an “innovative” new system that integrates real-world collectible cards with the in-game universe. Each card in the next generation of the Naruto Shippuden collector series will include a code allowing players to unlock artwork for their in-game profile, and fight against them in a mini-battle to unlock a bonus skill.

A set of 111 screenshots were released alongside the trailer. Check out the batch at the gallery.
