Metal Gear Rising director revealed

Bayonetta main programmer takes the helms.

Kenji Saito, the main programmer behind Bayonetta, has been confirmed as the director of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance in the latest issue of Famitsu.

Saito, according to Rising producer Atsushi Inaba, has far advanced himself from the likes of a simple programmer. Saito and Bayonetta director Hideki Kamiya have been working together since the original Viewtiful Joe.

The magazine also reveals the game will go playable at E3 this year, and sheds more insight into how the PlatinumGames collaboration came to be. Read more about that here.
