Yamauchi: Gran Turismo 6 in development

Shocking news, isn't it?

Polyphony Digital is working on the next entry in the Gran Turismo series. After a successful Gran Turismo 5, Gran Turismo 6 is underway at the Tokyo-based developer.

“It’s a bit too early to talk about [Gran Turismo] 6, we are starting some work on it,” he told Complex. “We just finished updating GT5, so it’s a bit early to get into the future,” he added, laughing.

Gran Turismo 5 released for PlayStation 3 on November 24, 2010, five years after its E3 2005 announcement.
