Take-Two: Grand Theft Auto V “a bold new direction”

GTA goes to Southern California.

Take-Two sent out the official press release for Grand Theft Auto V today, announcing the game is “in full development.”

In development at Rockstar North, the sequel “heads to the city of Los Santos and its surrounding hills, country side, and beaches,” in what Take-Two describes as the “largest and most ambitious game Rockstar has yet created.”

Grand Theft Auto V is another radical reinvention of the Grand Theft Auto universe,” said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. “We are incredibly excited to share our new vision with our fans.”

Boasted a “bold new direction in open-world freedom, storytelling, mission-based gameplay and online multiplayer,” the game is focused on the “pursuit of the almighty dollar” in a re-imagined modern-day Southern California.
