Extreme Escape Adventure Japanese date set

Escaping gets extreme in February.

Chunsoft has put a date on its upcoming 3DS and PlayStation Vita adventure game. It will launch in Japan on February 16, 2012.

A story of betrayal—and the spiritual successor to DS’s 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors—the game follows character Sigma, who wakes up in a warehouse after being kidnapped along with eight other victims. It is being created by the same team that developed 999, and even has a similar unofficial title translation. Extreme Escape: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors is 999‘s unofficial translation. Do you see the similarities?
