Persona series sells 1.65 million in Japan

Atlus outlines big plans for Persona 4.

The Persona series has sold over 1.65 million copies in Japan.

Index, parent company of Persona developer Atlus, reported the sales in a new investor’s presentation, where it also outlines big plans for Persona 4. Persona 4: The Animation has already begun, and in 2012 they plan to release Persona 4: The Golden for PlayStation Vita and Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Arcade.
