Devil May Cry: HD Collection announced

Devil May Cry trilogy getting HD update.

Following months of rumor (primarily fueled by us), Capcom today announced a Devil May Cry: HD Collection for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Due out in North America and Europe in early 2012 for an MSRP of $39.99, the collection brings together the first Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening Special Edition in a single high-definition package.

Screenshots, including SD-comparison images, can be seen at the gallery.

Pre-E3 we were told a Devil May Cry collection, as well as a Jak and Daxter collection, was in the works. Considering today’s news and the recent updates surrounding a Jak and Daxter collection, our source looks to finally be coming to light.
