Yesterday, Namco Bandai announced it shipped 500,000 copies of Tales of Xillia on its first day of release in Japan. Today, Mainichi reports that the game shipped an additional 100,000 copies on day two.
Sales figures should arrive next week, so it shouldn’t be long before we get an idea of how many copies were sold. But by the looks of it, this may just be Namco Bandai’s highest-selling Tales release ever.
