Assassin’s Creed: Revelations PS3 beta begins September 3

The multiplayer beta for Assassin’s Creed: Revelations will begin for PlayStation 3 users on September 3, Ubisoft has revealed.

The beta is a timed PlayStation 3-exclusive for PlayStation Plus and Uplay subscribers. It’ll offer access to nine characters (The Sentinel, The Vanguard, The Guardian, The Vizier, The Thespian, The Deacon, The Bombardier, The Trickster and The Champion), three maps (Knight’s Hospital, Antioch, Constantinople) and four playable modes (Wanted, Manhunt, Deathmatch, and Artifact Assault).

Additionally, a new video, titled “Assassin’s Creed Universe,” debuted released today. It highlights snippets from every Assassin’s Creed entry to date, including the spinoffs. Watch that below.

Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is out for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 15, 2011. Check out screenshots of the beta at the gallery.
