Arkedo series coming to PlayStation Network

001-003 to arrive "soon."

Sanuk Games is bringing its Arkedo series arcade games to PlayStation 3. Jump!, Swap!, and Pixel! will all see release on PlayStation Network “soon.” Each game will have trophy support. They will sell for $2.49 / €1.99 / £1.74 each.

The three games were initially released as a “one game per month” experiment on the Xbox LIVE Indie Games channel on Xbox 360. After overwhelmingly positive reception, Sanuk decided to bring the series to PlayStation Network.

Jump! is an 8-bit platformer, where you must collect bombs before they explode, avoiding bats at the same time. Swap! is a match-4 puzzle game where you must clear the blocks before they pile up. It involves the use of “combos, bonus blocks, power blocks and time freezers.” Pixel! sees a cat named Pix guided through a “nocturnal adventure” in a pixelated world. “Big fat pixels never looked so good,” claims Sanuk.

A video of Sanuk manager Yan Marchal was released alongside the announcement. In the clip, Marchal guides us through the three titles. View it here.
