Lightbox lifted the lid on their method of storytelling for Starhawk at the San Diego Comic-Con. It’s told via a “wanted” poster style animation, which depicts protagonist Emmett Graves’ memories, or his Rift visions.
The team is trying to create a seamless shooter. Acording to Lightbox boss Dylan Jobe, you can “smoothly flow from mission to mission with no loading screens.”
Lightbox will unveil more details surrounding the game on Sunday, July 24 at Starhawk‘s discussion panel. For now, check out the opening cutscene below. A new set of screenshots can be seen at the gallery.
