Wii U beauty shots released

Nintendo’s released official images of the Wii U, their upcoming Wii successor announced this morning at E3. The shots give off full view of the controller, which includes a 6.2 inch touchscreen, the console, and the innovation that the pair bring to home gaming.

The image chosen for the header of this post showcases a Zelda scene created in HD. At Nintendo’s E3 booth, a video of the Zelda tech demo has been dubbed the “HD Experience” portion of the system. It’s truly remarkable — seeing Zelda in high-def.

Set for release in 2012, the Wii U bears all at the gallery.
