Catherine likely to become a franchise

Catherine, Atlus‘ love-triangle puzzle horror game, will likely become a franchise. Parent company Index has said that Catherine is their next major intellectual property, following Shin Megami Tensei and Etrian Odyssey.

The company praised Catherine‘s high sales in Japan, and made it clear that Catherine will soon evolve to have its own lineup of games.

Catherine released in Japan this past February. It’ll launch for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America this summer.
