Prototype 2 is EGM’s April cover

The April issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly will have a full-fledged reveal on Prototype 2, the magazine’s announced.

The game stars Sgt. James Heller, a war veteran out to destroy Pototype protagonist Alex Mercer. The developer’s promise a “well-told epic story of you taking down Alex Mercer.”

Also in the issue: a sit-down with BioShock Inifnite director Ken Levine, who tells EGM about the team’s necessity to make a game as far away as possible from the first BioShock. They say, “we had to make sure we got far enough away from the original…What if you’re doing all these things in a BioShock game that you’ve never done before – that’s what keeps it interesting for us.”

Subscribers should start seeing their copies arrive shortly. It’ll hit newsstands on March 15.

Thanks, EGM.
