Konami still interested in Peace Walker for consoles?

The last we heard of Konamnging Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker to consoles was back in May of last year, where a Konami rep asked the audience if they’d like to see the game on PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3, then jotted down answers. Today, thanks to a new survey on Konami’s Facebook, the idea comes up yet again.

On question 18 of the survey, if you didn’t select Peace Walker as a Metal Gear game you’ve played, it asks: “Please indicate the reason(s) for not playing METAL GEAR SOLID PEACE WALKER (PSP). (Multiple responses accepted.)”

The second response you can check says: “If you are going to play a title from the “METAL GEAR” series, you would play on a home console.”

Here’s a screen capture:

Interesting. Nearly a year later and they’re still interested in bringing it to consoles. Perhaps it’s already in the works?
