Tales of Xillia: Leia Roland detailed
Namco Bandai’s delivered high-resolution images of Tales of Xillia‘s latest party member, Leia Roland.
Leia, voiced by Saori Hayami, is the game’s second character designed by Mutsumi Inomata, who also designed female protagonist Milla Maxwell. Leia is a 15 year-old childhood friend of male protagonist Jude Mathis. She’s 158cm tall.
She’s a cheerful girl, who, while training to be a nurse, works at her family-owned inn. She constantly thinks of others, sometimes going too far and worrying to an unseen extent. She likes to win, but understands that effort is more important.
Leia uses a club as her wapon. Her personal skill allows her to extend the reach of her club for a small period of time. As her level raises, the distance of her club will increase.
Also shown in today’s screenshots is the “Link Arts” system. This allows two characters to team up and attack enemies. The Master character (you) is assisted by the Partner character (ally). As you attack, the Partner character will support you, building up a gauge. Once that gauge is built up, you can make the Master character use a particular arts move and the Partner will follow you for a special group attack. In the screenshots, we see Milla and Jude and Milla and Alvin team up.
