Ninja Gaiden III teaser released, unmasking at E3

Kicking off the week of the Game Developer’s Conference, Tecmo Koei and Team Ninja have released the debut teaser trailer for Ninja Gaiden III.

The game, scheduled for 2012, promises to “take fans on an epic journey as they discover a side of [Ryu] that’s never been revealed.” It’ll introduce the franchise to a “broader audience” while still retaining the “legendary challenge” that drew players to the series in the first place. Team Ninja head Yosuke Hayashi is leading development on the game.

Check out the trailer below. It’s all you’ll get until E3 2011, where “press will be presented with a playable demo giving show attendees the first hands-on opportunity with the title.”
