Dead Island returns in amazing new trailer

Remember Dead Island? That zombie family vacation survival shooter game? After a long period of silence, it’s back in the media today. A heart-wrenching new CG trailer sent out by publisher Deep Silver gives us a first look at the family we’ll come to know in the game. And it’s sad.

The clip really makes us wonder whether or not we’d throw our own daughters out of a window if she were ever infected by zombies.

Out this year, Dead Island promises first-person melee combat, 4-player co-op, weapon customization, an open-world tropical island, RPG elements for character development, and hordes of gruesome zombies to dispose of.

It’s in development at Techland for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
