Atlus‘ Catherine, released last week on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in Japan, sold remarkably well. The game, which topped Famitsu’s most wanted list for several weeks, came in at number one in this week’s sales charts.
The PlayStation 3 version of the game took the top spot, selling just shy of 142,000 copies. The Xbox 360 version took the seventh spot, selling nearly 22,000 copies.
