Killzone 3 single-player demo due February 9

A Killzone 3 single-player demo is set to debut before the game’s retail release late February. PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive it on February 9, while regular PlayStation Network users will get it on February 17. It’ll be available in both 2D and 3D.

There are differences depending on which version you decide to download. There’s the obvious: one is in 2D, the other is in 3D. However, there’s also the cinlusion of split-screen co-op in the 2D demo, which the 3D demo does not have.

Those who own a PlayStation Move can go ahead and test out Killzone 3 with the motion control. Killzone 3 is one of the first shooters developed around the controller.

A multiplayer open beta is also in the pipeline. Although, I wouldn’t call it a “beta”, considering the game’s already gone gold.
