New VGA clip teases “Murder” and zombie reveal

A new promotional clip for the Video Game Awards has hit SpikeTV’s official site today. In it, a message teasing what we’re assuming is the reveal of an all new game.

At the twenty-second mark in the clip, the message “Look Closer” appears on screen. Pausing the video and scavenging the area near the mark, you’ll find that two images quickly appear and disappear at that same point. The images are the one above, which reads “Infected? Report it!” and “1 of 3” (upside down), and a 2D barcode (seen here) which translates to a link leading to a website with the word “murder”.

Interesting. Murder and zombies go well together — kind of hand-in-hand, really. What do you think is on the horizon? Left 4 Dead 3? Dead Rising 3? The Video Game Awards air live on SpikeTV on December 11 at 8pm EST/5pm PST.

Thanks, TSA, for finding the zombie image.
