ShopTo lists Prince of Persia Trilogy in 3D for PS3 [Update]

A while back, Amazon France listed both a Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell collection for release on PlayStation 3. Of course, neither of these collections have been officially announced by Ubisoft. It looks as if the Prince of Persia Trilogy is proving to be true, though, as United Kingdom retailer ShopTo has also listed the game, outing both 3D support and a potential box art.

The retailer’s gotten up a complete description of the collection, reading: “Ubisoft have finally put together the 3 Prince of Persia games in one low priced package. All 3 games have been consistently excellent in terms of gameplay, and each installment has brought something new to the franchise.” It goes on to describe each game, including The Sands of Time, Warrior Within and The Two Thrones.

I’ll get in touch with Ubisoft to see what they have to say on this. In the meantime, check out the box art found on the listing.

Update 12:21pm on 9/24: An Ubisoft PR rep has responded to our e-mail. Don’t get too excited, though. Their response: “Ubisoft does not comment on rumors or speculation.”
