Parasite Eve could come to PlayStation 3

Square Enix has said that if PSP‘s release of The 3rd Birthdaygoes according to plan, they would be interested in developing a high-definition game in the franchise for PlayStation 3.

When asked why the team chose PSP as the game’s platform, producer Yoshinori Kitase responded:

“The team had a lot of experience and knew a lot about making a game for PSP which is why we chose PSP as the platform for this game,” Kitase told VideoGamer.com. “But if this game turns out to be a success then we’d be looking at extending the franchise into PS3.”
