Capcom‘s announced today that it’s promoted Chief Financial Officer, Kazuhiko Abe, to CEO and President of Capcom’s US and European branches. Abe joined the company in 2003 as General Manager of Managment Planning and was promoted to his CFO role in 2006. Today, he takes his next big step.
“Abe-san has proven to be an invaluable asset to Capcom,” said Kenzo Tsujimoto, chairman and chief executive officer of Capcom Co., Ltd. “His experience of over seven years with Capcom can only benefit the operations in North America and Europe and strengthen the relationships between the Japanese and Pan-Western territories.”
In his new position, Abe is now responsible for the overall management of North American and European business operations, as well as overseeing activities between North American and US offices.
