The Fight: Lights Out – PlayStation Move’s first brawler gets developer diary
When Sony unveiled PlayStation Move early last month, they revealed several games with it. One of those games was an all-out brawler tentatively titled Motion Fighter. Today – alongside the release of its first developer diary – the game’s official title has been revealed as The Fight: Lights Out.
The Fight producer John McLaughlin takes the stage in the developer diary, speaking about the realism of the game, the ability to fight how you want to fight, and how this isn’t some game where you can just flick your controller.
Tons of motion capture has been done for The Fight “to ensure that every punch, every hit reaction, every dirty move and every hard-hitting knockout makes the player feel right in the thick of the action.”
Sounds intense. The developer diary can be seen below. At its current stage, the game is only twenty percent complete and in the alpha stage. It’ll be at E3, so I’ll be sure to give you my impressions when I test it out for myself.
