Japanese retailer reports lighter PS3 on the way

A Japanese retailer is listing a new PlayStation 3 on the way for this month. According to the specifications, the new model features a slight weight reduction from 3.2kg to 3.0kg. The model number has also gone from CECH-2000A to CECH-2100A.

Considering the slim PlayStation 3 just released just late last year, this is probably just a minor change on the console’s interior rather than anything announcement-worthy.
