505 Games has announced today that they’ll be publishing Naturalmotion’s Backbreaker football game, described as the “next generation football for the new generation of football fans.”
The game promises redefining football genre gameplay, an on-field camera view, tackles that are different every time, dazzling graphics and the ability to customize your own team in 11-versus-11 competitive play.

The game launches 2010. There’s a mini iPhone version out right now for those who want to get a small taste. I’ve had it for quite some time.

In addition, the game features total team customization including a fully featured logo editor.
The game welcomes newcomers to the genre with its intuitive pick-up-and-play Arcade Mode control scheme, while seasoned players can go head-to-head in the game’s demanding Pro Mode that turns off AI and visual assists.
