During Kaz Hirai’s keynote at the Tokyo Game Show this morning, he displayed a slide of the Spring 2010 PlayStation 3 motion controller. He didn’t actually demonstrate it, but he spoke of it. The design seems to have been more refined, as well.

“The controller has image recognition and depth perception and it’s accurate and can trace user’s positions,” he told the crowd.

Sony’s working closely with developers to make sure this attracts the “right” crowd.
