Halo: Reach Minor Details Possibly “Leaked”
A poster known as “P40L0 360” on the Bungie.net forums claims to have some minor details on Bungie’s upcoming Halo: Reach, announced by Microsoft at E3. He claims to have gotten this intel from “friends that followed E3 09 directly, and talked with MS employers in the show, asking about Reach to everyone.”
According to his post, the game will remain a first-person shooter, obviously. The ambitious project is considered a main Halo project; Bungie have been working on it with a team of 150 people since Halo 3 finished development in 2007. It’s been in development longer than Halo 3: ODST, as well. The game’s more multiplayer oriented than previous Halo-games, and the single-player mode will be “different” compared to what we’ve seen prior as well. Finally, Reach is to carry out a much “darker” and “more serious” tone than the past games.
As with all leaks and rumors, take it with a grain of salt, but it all sounds pretty believable to me.
