Trinity Universe Announced for PlayStation 3

The latest issue of Famitsu has announced a new RPG from NIS in development at Idea Factory titled Trinity Universe. Apparently, this is not the game that NIS America was going to announce today, that one’s going to be developed by Hit Maker, according to Examiner.

The fully 3D and new RPG is a collaboration between Idea Factory, Gust and Nippon Ichi Software. It’s a cross between NIS’s Disgaea and Gust’s Atelier series, featuring two plotlines: Goddess and Devil King. Gust worked on the story for Goddess, while Nippon Ichi worked on the story for Devil King. This marks the first time you’ll see a Disgaea character in 3D.

Trinity Universe is currently 60% complete in development and is due for an August release in Japan. Read on for the scans.
