Source: PSP Go! Real and Set for E3, PS3 Slim Real and Set for August

According to an inside source from Ars Technica, the PSP Go! is inded real and will be announced at E3, and the more surprising fact is that the PlayStation 3 slim is real as well. However, that “likely” won’t be announced at the show and not until Sony sells the remainder of PlayStation 3 units on store shelves now.

The PlayStation 3 slim should hit stores in August or September, however, which isn’t far off at all.

Regarding the PSP Go!, it will be a lighter PSP this time around subtracting the dreaded UMD format and feature a lower power consumption and a possibly lower price. The Go! will be sold in stores with the current PSPs, which won’t be taken off shelves anytime soon. A good number of games will be released with both retail and digital releases, some even going fully digital.
