In the newest Famitsu, Final Fantasy XIII director and scenario writer Motomu Toriyama has says in an interview that the game is “currently” running at a resolution of 720p at 30 frames per second.
Toriyama says, unlike Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts when it first released, they’re making sure that the text is readable on SDTVs so even poor folks who still haven’t upgraded can play and understand the text.
Scenes can also be skipped or paused, Toryiama said.
The game isn’t too far from completion either, I’d say pretty close. “We’ve almost finished all the parts of the game,” says Toriyama. “From now on, it’s a matter of putting them together.”
Famitsu reports that the demo clocks in at one hour and twenty minutes of gameplay. Famitsu writes that “there’s almost no load time” and “the background music is so cool.” Anybody piss their pants yet?
