Metal Gear Solid Level Pack Coming to LittleBigPlanet Next Tuesday
SCEA have officially annoucned the Metal Gear Solid packs for LittleBigPlanet hitting the PlayStation Store on December 23, 2008.
The Metal Gear Solid Premium Costume Pack will be priced at $5.99 and will contain Solid Snake, Meryl Silverburgh, Screaming Mantis & Raiden as Sackboy costumes.
The Metal Gear Solid Premium Level Pack will contain tons of new stickers (72), materials (12), decorations (10), and objects (18) from the MGS world, as well as a Gurlokovich Soldier Sackboy costume. In addition to that, five new story levels have been developed in joint with Media Molecule and Konami as well as 1 new challenge level.
Also in the level pack is:
- 3 new background music tracks
- 1 new interactive music track
- 1 new Metal Gear Solid themed ‘sound object’
- New Plasma Ball ‘danger element’
- New Laser Sight ‘gadget’
- New functioning Searchlight lamp – for those special ‘exclamation mark’ moments
- THE PAINTINATOR (and Paint Switch)
With the new paintball gun, you’ll be able to shoot anything you want from the start of the level to the finish. You can also attach the Paintinator to a Paint Switch to let it self destruct.
Twelve new trophies have been added to unlock as well.
So what happens if you want to play a level online built with the Metal Gear Solid level pack? No problem, if you don’t own it, you can still play the levels regardless.
