DERELIKT
DERELIKT is a science-fiction first-person shooter video game developed by Visuwyg and published by Hyperstrange.
About
DERELIKT is a narrative retro first-person shooter built for fans of claustrophobic PlaySation-era science-fiction horror. Set in orbit around Saturn, DERELIKT drops you into a place where something much older than nostalgia for classic science-fiction horror is waking up… and it is far more ominous. DERELIKT is launching later this year and has been a passion project from developer Visuwyg.
Inspired by the mood and structure of System Shock 2, Alien Resurrection, and DOOM 3, DERELIKT leans into the dread of being under-equipped, out of your depth, and very far from help. The game is set in Von Neumann Outpost, a remote research station built into a derelict asteroid in Saturn’s orbit. Now its halls are dark, its systems are failing, and the few survivors left inside aren’t telling the same story.
Explore the outpost’s secrets, its corridors, labs and crew quarters. Search for supplies, solve environmental puzzles, and unlock new routes through a station that grows more dangerous the deeper you go. There are also over a dozen NPCs remain aboard the station, each with their own agenda and version of what happened. Some know more than they should. Some may be useful, dangerous, doomed, or all three.
Combat is tense and satisfying with an arsenal of traditional and alien weapons. Ammo, health, and inventory space matter, and every shot has a cost. This isn’t a power fantasy corridor shooter. It’s unnerving, strange, and hostile.
