BitSummit THE 8th BIT will run from September 2 to 3 in Kyoto.

The event will feature over 100 games selected from developers all over the world, playable on the show floor and through developer channels on Discord. The server will host live developer chats, Let’s Plays, and giveaways alongside programming on the BitSummit YouTube channel.

10:00 to 10:25 – Opening Ceremony – BitSummit THE 8th BIT begins with a performance by Professor Sakamoto, who has long been the event’s opening act.
10:30 to 11: 05 – New Game Announcement from Inti Creates – Inti Creates CEO Takuya Aizu and international affairs producer Mat Papa announce information on a new title.
11:10 to 11:40 – BitSummit Games Introduction #1: Ukiyo – Featuring Seaknot Studios‘ Toru Hisai.
11:45 to 12:20 – Shuhei Yoshida’s Indie Games Introduction: The Birth of Sol Cresta and Future Developments – Sony Interactive Entertainment indies initiative head Shuhei Yoshida, PlatinumGames executive vice president, studio head, and chief creative officer Atsushi Inaba, and Platinum Games senior vice president and chief game designer Hideki Kamiya discuss the story behind the creation of Sol Cresta and its future developments.
12:25 to 13:00 – Shueisha Game Creators Camp: A Chaotic Half-Hour, From First Footage to Major Announcements – An activity report on Shueisha Game Creators Camp, first footage, new title announcements, and new information debuting here first.
