“We sincerely apologize for having to announce a delay to everyone eagerly waiting for the game,” said the REMIMORY development team in a press release. “However, to repay the tremendous support you have shown us, we promise to return with an experience truly worth the wait. Here are the latest details, via REMIMORY:
Castaway Diary: Portal to the Unknown Isles is a bright, casual survival sandbox game following the adventures of girls stranded on an uncharted island. Setting itself apart from conventional grim and tension-heavy survival games, it is designed to offer a relaxed and leisurely island survival life alongside charming anime-style characters—featuring gathering, fishing, and cooking, as well as highly customizable housing, farming, and character customization through crafted outfits. Players can also explore uncharted islands and dungeons on mounts, defeat monsters, and team up in up to four-player online cooperative multiplayer to pioneer the island and conquer dungeons together.
With this announcement, REMIMORY previewed a variety of new housing themes tailored specifically to subculture aesthetics, expanding beyond the basic housing showcased in the initial reveal trailer. Diverse options such as a “School Theme” and a “Maid Cafe Theme” will be available in-game, complete with matching themed costumes. A preview of the newly unveiled housing is showcased in today’s screenshot and new trailer, with more in-depth details to be shared in future official updates.
