ZA/UM will release a Switch 2 version of espionage RPG ZERO PARADES: Director’s Cut alongside the previously announced PlayStation 5 version on November 3, the developer announced.
The Switch 2 version will utilize JoyCon 2 mouse controls, touchscreen support, and HD Rumble 2. Players can work their way through conversations, intel, and the streets of Portofiro using controls built around the Switch 2 system, whether playing handheld or docked.
The PlayStation 5 version has been built around the DualSense wireless controller, utilizing adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, and the controller speaker, while 3D audio and 4K presentation enhance the spatial and visual experience.
Here is an overview of the game, via ZA/UM:
Both console versions launch with ZERO PARADES: Director’s Cut from day one.
The Director’s Cut adds substantial new material to the game, including a new Dramatic Encounter, Backstage Mode, new outfits, interface improvements and approximately 40,000 words of new writing across ZERO PARADES.
At the centre of the new content is the Quisach Roundabout, a new Dramatic Encounter in which Hershel and her old friend Ramses find themselves behind the wheel of a hijacked tuk tuk while extremely high and seemingly unable to leave a roundabout.
Backstage Mode opens up the development of ZERO PARADES itself. Players can explore earlier iterations of selected environments, discover cut content and hear stories from across the development team, narrated by art director Kaspar Tamsalu.
The Director’s Cut also completes and revises the English voice over and introduces further visual, accessibility, interface and quality of life improvements across the game.
ZERO PARADES: Director’s Cut is already available on PC as a free upgrade for all existing owners.
